The South African National Parks (SANParks) in partnership South African Forest Adventures launched the long-awaited zipline system that crosses a beautiful gorge between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
The system consists of four cables, which, in total span 2.2km with the longest cable measuring 700 meters. South African Forest Adventures intends on adding an additional 2 cables before the end of the year, further extending the tour. Zipliners will criss-cross the Kranshoek gorge, reaching heights of more than 200 metres with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean as well as fynbos and indigenous forest.

Knysna Ziplines is located within the Knysna Lakes section of SANParks Garden Route National Park and will officially open for business on Friday 18 September. There will be an ‘opening special’ for R400 p/p which will run until the end of October. From November the price increases to R800 p/p. Guests can also hire GoPro cameras for R300 to record their experience.
