As we kick off the weekend all I can think about is the Semi finals at Newlands tomorrow. WP vs The Bulls in a North vs South derby. Between the Bulls and Province, they have both won the Currie Cup more times then any other teams put together, 54 times. (WP 32 & Bulls 22)
This match is going to go down to the wire I think, the Bulls with a full strength side again due to all their Boks returning could prove tough for this under-rated Province side. I do feel that WP have showed a character and determination to get them where they are and I don’t think they will lie down and let the Bulls run over them. I predict Province by 5 points (hoping that the Sharks lose to the Cheetahs so that we get a home final)
Keep a close eye on young Juan De Jongh in the mid field (future bok???) and our loose trio (D.Vermulen, F.Louw & Luke Watson) who have played so well not even Schalk can make the starting line up!
