I stumbled across this rad little bit of social media back and forth that kicked off with a video of woman quitting her job by filming an interpretive dance sequence set to Kamye West’s Gone.
Marina V. Shifrin filmed the video to let her boss know that she had, had enough and was on her way out:
I work for an awesome company that makes news videos. I have put my entire life into this job, but my boss only cares about quantity, how fast we write and how many views each video gets.
I believe it’s more important to focus on the quality of the content. When you learn to improve this, the views will come. Here is a little video I made explaining my feelings.

The boss and company then responded with a video of their own, showing just how awesome it is to work at the company as well as let everyone know that they are hiring, to replace Marina. Personally, I think it was a good attempt but honestly just makes the company look even more like they’re a bunch of bastards to work for. Someone… hire this woman, NOW!
