Wolfkop Nature Reserve is nestled in the Olifants River Valley in Citrusdal and takes it’s name from the nickname the first local farmers gave the shapely mountain that backs the riverbank of the reserve. While the only thing you’ll find howling at the moon are happy campers, the land is abundant with wildlife and it’s not uncommon to hear a troop of baboons echoing through the range.

The reserve has a variety of accommodation options available, including remote cottages, wood cabins, and tent and caravan villages, perfect for travellers passing through slowly and families and groups of friends alike, looking for a quick getaway or weekend retreat. The venue never sways from reminding your free spirit, that this is a great outdoor destination.

The heart of Wolfkop’s offering is a quest to provide a truly off-grid experience, to allow one to reconnect with themselves and nature. To appreciate the sweet sounds, fresh earthly aromas, blue skies, soft breezes, crystal clear water, and rolling, lush green fields; all in a moment that is not connected to time or destiny.

Free-spirited travellers, this is your next stop.

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang's TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people. Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…

  1. Need an outdoor festival in and around my mouth. It’s been too freaking long, and I need a freaking holiday.

    That is all.

  2. I have been dying to go to this festival! All I want to do is dance amongst the flowers!

  3. So I totaled my car, got my phone and wallet stolen in the process, my boyfriend broke up with me and now I have to move out to a flat with a futon and fuckol else. Please bring happiness back to life. This is one of THE BEST line ups I’ve seen all year. And my hero and biggest inspiration is playing: FELIX KING OF UNDERGROUND LABAND. I need this please. I’ll even go alone. Music is all I have left in my life anyways

  4. I’ve just been told it’s amazing and all me mates are going. Seems very unfair to be left out especially since they’re all in the larney camp already.

Come along, send me packing. Spring time shenanigans, come on!

  5. I Wanna Wolfkop! I want to be that oke. I want the world to remember my name, even if it’s just the people of Wolfkop for now… You’ll see, I will be the Wolf of Citrusdaal next week. Give me that chance!

  6. I went to stay in the Wolfkop Nature Reserve last week and I haven’t felt so content in ages. I almost forgot it was still Winter. Attending a music festival between the fynbos there will be absolute heaven.

  7. Went to the first installment of the Wolfkop Weekender and it was hands down the best weekend away. Great music and an even better crowd. It will be awesome to make it to the next one. What a better way to spend the weekend than frolicking in the flowers with salamanders and basking by the river with the bass 🙂

  8. I’d hate to miss an event where you have an exceptional list of artists/musicians, a lovely group of friends/dancers and the fantastic outdoors…oh and Papa Pierre’s bringing the disco too 🙂

  9. I really need the tickets, had tickets to Oppikoppi, but couldn’t go, then got tickets to One Night In Cape Town and got sick, so couldn’t go. I need a good festival/show!!

  10. I really want to go. Need a good festival/show! Missed 2 festivals/shows I had tickets to, ’cause I got sick. Please help me out

  11. I would love these tickets.
    I mean who wouldn’t?
Sunny days. Felix Band. Free yoga and fresh orange juice?
    Yes please.
Also , not that I have been to this festival before , but something feels different about it.
I don’t if it is the small amount of tickets being sold or the communal vibe.
Whatever it is, it seems really awesome and I would love to be apart of it!
    Please consider meee 🙂

  12. Would love to win tickets to this!
It looks so incredible and I’ve never been before so it would be amazing if my first experience was with some fraaay tickets. 😀

  13. This will be my first off weekend in 6 months thanks to the awesome Hospitality Industry. I think this festival would be the most epic way to celebrate the weekend with my friends! Hope you guys can make this a weekend to remember by sending a couple of tickets my way. Cheers!

  14. The 29th August will be my first off weekend in 6 months thanks to working in the Hospitality Industry! This event would be a great way to celebrate the weekend with a close friend. Help a brother out with some good times! Cheers
