Strap on your skates, stretch out your legwarmers and stop dreaming you’re Olivia Newton John. You dont have to find Xanadu, because Peroxide is setting the wheels turning on 2016 with ROLLERSYNTH, the latest in our series of Era Groovebar takeovers! To make this installment extra special, we have a legend in the form of Graeme G-Force taking our headline slot.
For anyone who has clubbed in South Africa from the late 80s to now, G-Force barely needs an introduction: a veteran of seminal clubs in Jhb from the early days of Jacquelines, right up to his involvement in the TOYTOY collective, Graeme has been a constant on the South African electrinic landscape, pushing and experimenting with new sounds, always staying current, yet never scared to reference an older, more obscure track relevant to the set. We’re privileged to have not only G-Force’s talents behind the decks, but the opportunity to delve into his vast collection of 80s classics, and modern edits that he so fastidiuously compiles.
Please note FREE ENTRY WILL BE GRANTED TO ANYONE WEARING A PAIR OF SKATES up until midnight….but also remember, this is at your own risk and neither Era or Peroxide take any responsibility for you crashing out of Xanadu.
