Why I hate the Diski Dance…

diski-dance-1

Everyone that knows me, knows I am all for everything South African, that being said… The Diski Dance, is something I cant get my head around, I cant understand how they couldnt have come up with something better. I mean, I have seen all the ads on Supersport and Mnet with all the sports stars doing it and celebs giving it a bash, but don’t they realise they look like complete idiots…

The Diski dance has now gone as far as copying the Flash Mob dance, thats done all over the world and they did it at the Waterfront (I could be wrong here). Take a look at this, if you ask me, it looks effing terrible! Everyone looks like a full retard and you know NEVER to go full retard! I give them props for trying to get it done like they did, but once again they have failed to prove to me that it a worthy dance for the World Cup. I can only imagine tourists lapping this up and I will standing shaking my head in disbelief wishing that this castrophe of a dance was never created

I am sorry, but that looks terrible… yes I know I have no soul for not liking the Diski Dance, but seriously, do you?

Half the people dont even know how to do it correctly in the first place making it look even worse. Get me some of those little ear muffs for your side mirrors on your car and flag for my window and hell, you’ll see me driving around Cape Town with the biggest smile on my face…

Ban the Diski Dance I say… hahaha

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang's TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people. Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…

  1. I agree with craig, we live in a country where song and dance are high up on the cultural commodity list and to have some twat dancing and pelvic thrusting mixed is an insult to what is dance in south africa, Diski is not ayoba!!!

  2. exactly, surely we could have done something more funkier, more culturally South African… Glad its not only me who sees it this way!
