WABetaInfo revealed this past Thursday that the Facebook-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is developing a new feature called ‘Quick Edit’ – a tool for editing pictures within chats.

‘Quick Edit’ is currently being tested on both Android and iOS and will remove some need to edit images outside of your WhatsApp chat by allowing you to crop and draw on photos you receive inside a chat or group. After editing is complete, you can send the image directly back to your contact or group chat.
