The Kimberley Diamond Cup presented by Kumba Iron Ore promises non-stop high octane skateboarding action for the rest of the weekend.  Spectators can expect never-seen before tricks as the best pro skaters in the world go head-to-head for the world champion title and a total prize purse of R5-million.  Nyjah Huston, currently considered to be the best street skater in the world, already wowed the crowds by executing an unbelievable backside 270 kickflip to backside lipslide down the large rail at the Kumba Skate Plaza in Kimberley during practise yesterday.

In the amateur vert competition Dallas Oberholzer from KwaZulu-Natal walked away with the R10 000 first prize.  The amateur ladies contest provided lots of excitement with Kelly Murray from Johannesburg pulling off some great tricks to impress the judges with Melissa Williams from Cape Town second and Natalie Bramley in third place.

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang's TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people. Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…
