‘Black Panther’ stars Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke reunite on screen for Jordan Peele’s [director of ‘Get Out’] latest nightmare titled ‘Us‘. The pair play Adelaide and Gabe, two parents who take their children for a vacation along with some friends – one of which is played by Elisabeth Moss. The family look forward to spending time together at the plush beach house but as the trailer below reveals, the vacation soon turns awry when another family arrives to terrorise them.
Peele’s previous hit horror, ‘Get Out‘ was groundbreaking for its plot, cast, superbly written script and the social issues, such as racism, it boldly addressed. Before an advance screening of ‘Us‘ in London, Peele explained that he felt it was important to have a black family star in the thriller because he “hadn’t seen that before”. He also wanted to “create a new mythology” in which we may be our own worst enemies.
Jordan Peele‘s highly anticipated follow up to Get Out is set for release this March. Watch the trailer below.
