Plettenberg party-goers and thrill-seekers, a new and immersive adventure will unfold in your city this December. Introducing Wanderbay – a multi-stage experience that will play host to an aural journey featuring both local and international talent.
Wanderbay NYE will take place at Rietvlei Country Estate, just stone’s throw away from the picturesque beaches of one of South Africa’s most premium holiday destinations where organisers will present attendees with 10 hours of bliss across two distinct dance floors.
Catering for a variety of musical tastes, the Wanderbay stage will be headlined by Ryan Murgatroyd and Das Kapital while the second stage will be hosted by Cape Town party collective, Smalltown Beat who will host international headliner Asquith – Lobster Thermin [UK].
The event’s headline acts will be supported by a list of local stars including The Prophets of Wanderbay, Xavier Dragner, Siphe Tebeka, Rob Forbes, K$, Hunter, VAT69 and more. One of our favourite supporting stars on the Wanderbay lineup is Cape Town-based duo, Sacred Sun.
Described as the union between two music lovers, creators, and beings who have come together to share their stories through the medium of melody. Scared Sun offers dancers a deep, tribal and rhythmic experience interwoven with techno and electronica. Sacred Sun has performed in Europe and at most major festivals in Cape Town such as Bazique Festival, Into the Wild Experience, Retreat Yourself, With You Festival and this NYE they’ll take the stage at the first annual Wanderbay New Year’s Eve celebration in Plettenberg.
