It’s that time of the year when we all start to feel the pressure to do something a little bit special with our significant others on Valentine’s Day. Luckily Durbanville Hills in the Cape is offering you several choices to treat your beloved on 14 February. The Durbanville Hills Restaurant is offering a special five-course dinner at R325 per person that includes oysters, a trio of shellfish, beef fillet, gorgonzola and pecan nut spring rolls, and meringue mille-feuille to round off the evening.
If you prefer to spend a balmy evening out of doors, stretch out on the lush lawns for a picnic costing R495 for two. After a glass of bubbly and oysters you can share the bottle of Durbanville Hills Merlot Rosé that comes with a wicker basket brimming with bread, pâté, barbecued chicken breasts, salsa, salads, olives, cheeses, preserves, quiche, strawberries and chocolate dip, cinnamon heart biscuits and coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
The restaurant will also be offering its food and wine pairing as well as its à la carte menus for lunch.
Bookings are essential and can be made by contacting the cellar on 021 558 1300 or by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
