UCT Filmsoc Presents Psy-CoActive @ Carnage Bar, Claremont.

The 3rd September sees the UCT Film Society, in collaboration with Kieron Grieve And Lauren Hunt, hosting a music festival with a diverse lineup of talented veterans and up and coming artists in the electronic music scene. Starski `n Hutch are starting off the event with some dubstep, setting the stage for Jam Jarr, an explosive glitch rap duo sure to get  the dance floor moving. Fright continues with electro and hints at the psytrance acts to follow. Formula 8, representing The Village, and Krysis, a member of Kozvox, will begin the psychedelic journey. Strain, recently signed to Beartrap Records, continues bringing you tunes to keep you stomping till Shift, a psytrance legend takes to the decks. Biorhythm who have recently returned from representing South African psytrance at a festival in Greece are sure to amaze and excite the dance floor. Last up and concluding the festival is Xatrik vs. Psyqlopz. A versus set sure to push your mind to its limits with an arsenal of expertly produced tracks. With décor supplied by Vortex, visuals run by UCT film society, insane drink specials and such a diverse, talented lineup this will be an event not to miss.
