This month, Travis Scott‘s first annual Astroworld Festival hosted a massive lineup including the likes Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Rae Sremmurd, Metro Boomin, Virgil Abloh, and attracted over 40 000 people to ciy of Houston Texas.
The festival was such a massive success that the town of Houston decided to honour the rapper with his very own public holiday, called Astroworld Day. To top it all off, Scott also announced the launch of S.P.A.C.E – his own store in Houston, which had its soft launch as a POP-up stall at his Festival. Watch Travis accept the honour for Astroworld Day and speak to the city in a clip posted to Twitter below and for more on festival highlights visit Highsnobiety.com.
Thank you, @trvisXX for stopping by city hall the day after your successful #AstroworldFest2018 . Your message to the high school students in the room left a great impression. #TravisScott pic.twitter.com/EePpeNsfiW
