Trailer | Tom Hardy undergoes dramatic transformation for the untold story of Al Capone’s final days


The very first trailer for the upcoming biographical film ‘Capone’ has been released. The true-life crime drama is written, directed and edited by Josh Trank and stars Tom Hardy as a ‘late-in-life’ Al Capone – aka “Scarface” – the American gangster and businessman who gained notoriety as the co-founder and boss of the Chicago Outfit during the Prohibition era.

However, the film will chronicle the final days of the notorious gangster after his 11-year sentence in prison when he suffered from syphilis and he succumbed to dementia and the pain of his disturbing past.

The first trailer was released last week and gives viewers a first glimpse at the outstanding transformation Tom Hardy has gone through, with critics calling it his biggest and most prolific on-screen transformation yet.

The film will also feature supporting-stars Linda Cardellini as Mae Capone, Jack Lowden as FBI Agent Crawford, Matt Dillon as Johnny and more.
