The highly anticipated documentary that aired at Sundance Film Festival in January, ‘Spaceship Earth’ will finally be released next month to the public in a series of experimental digital releases and activations.
The feature tells the story if eight visionaries who embark on a two-year experiment to quarantine themselves inside “Biosphere 2″ – a self-engineered replica of Earth’s ecosystem. The “biospherians” were criticized and ridiculed as a ‘space cult’ but what they achieved and set out to learn seems more important now than ever as most of the world is confined to self-isolation.

Neon has also partnered up with a list of theatres, bookstores, museums, drives and non-profits to screen ‘Spaceship Earth’ in a socially distant manner.
