Topshop and Topman To Launch Pop-Up Shop at Unknown Union in Cape Town

Fashion-slaves in South Africa have been complaining for years about the fact that we didn’t have our own TOPSHOP or TOPMAN. I mean, where would we find clothes to be edgy? Thankfully our prayers have been answered with the launch of a very special “pop-up shop” at UNKNOWN UNION.

Unknown Union is a boutique retailer in Cape Town that houses carefully selected and exclusive international brands. They will play host to Topshop and Topman’s first ever “pop-up”
shop in Africa, opening on July 12th, 2012.

Topshop, Topman and Unknown Union have partnered to launch the pop-up shop on the first floor of Unknown Union’s iconic store, currently trading on Kloof Street and designed by internationally renowned New York architect Raphael De Cardenas. (www.architectureatlarge.com)

The dedicated Topman/Topshop “shop-within-a-shop” will feature a curated selection of the men’s and women’s fashions that have made both Topman and Topshop synonymous with style and quality at remarkably good value. This joint venture marks the premiere of both brands in Africa.

Unknown Union has introduced a host of legendary international brands to Africa in the past including Pendleton, OBEY, Penfield, Naked and Famous, Warriors of Radness and many more. These collections sell alongside their own Unknown Union label designed by Daniel Jackson, founder of Surface To Air and BBlessing,
