The popular dating app, Tinder has just announced the launch of a new in-app feature called ‘Festival Mode.’ The new feature is part of an initiative and partnership with AEG Worldwide and Live Nation.

The new feature will enable Tinder users to match up with each other based on the music festivals they will be attending. Badges for Festival Mode will be active roughly three weeks prior to any major festival, making it easier to see who’s attending the same festival as you.

Some of the big events who will be participating with Tinder’s new feature include; Lovebox, Parklife, Governors Ball, Hangout, Bonnaroo, Firefly, All Points East, British Summer Time, and EDC Las Vegas and Orlando.

Not only will Festival Mode offer users an even easier way to hook up at events, it will also offer access to VIP upgrades and more.

No longer are your connections limited to your campsite neighbours or whose shoulders you stood on during the headliner’s performance. So put down your fringe boots and neon fanny pack because, thanks to Tinder, your festival game is now stronger than ever.” – Tinder Press Release
