Throwback to all the world-class tributes to the talented and late Chris Cornell over the past week.

This week we say goodbye to one of the most talented vocalists and songwriters of our time. An incredible artist, Chris Cornell-fronted the hit bands Soundgarden, Audioslave and even enjoyed a successful solo career. After years out of the spotlight, Cornell had gotten Soundgarden back together and was on tour the evening he took his life. Chris Cornell was pronounced dead on May 17, 2017, at the age of 52. Shocked by the news, tributes across the globe began to pour in. Today we pay homage to Cornell with a list of Rockstars who took a moment to pay their respects over this past week.

U-2 played Black Hole Sun and then dedicated “Running To Stand Still” to Cornell at The Rose Bowl on Saturday.

Aerosmith displayed a large photo of Cornell on the screen while blasting Black Hole Sun on the PA before their show.  When the band emerged, Steven Tyler bowed to his image before proceeding to dedicate their first song “ Dream On”  to Chris.

Metallica bassist Rob Trujillo plays a Black Hole Sun Solo, the band also dedicates “Unforgiven” to Cornell and James Hetfield says “we forgive you, Chris” after the song is played.

Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour bandmate Christian Martucci dedicate Pink Floyd’s  “Wish You Were Here” to Chris at the Rock on the Range festival in Columbus, Ohio, where Soundgarden had been scheduled to perform.

 The Red Hot Chilli Peppers pay their respects to Cornell in Indianapolis with “Seasons”

And Ryan Adams sang “Black Hole Sun” during a performance in New Zealand on Saturday:
