The Witch – Trailer Review

The Witch

Words by Eliza Cro Day

On Friday the 13th, the latest poster for what some critics are calling the most terrifying film to come to our screens in ages, The Witch, was released. The film was conjured up by award winning, Robert Eggers, Best Director at Sundance this year. It seems we’re in for a hell of nightmare.

After watching the trailer, I’m convinced the above claims just may be true. As a gothy, witch kid, this disturbing little sneak peak into ‘A New England Folktale,’ may be an authentic story that could very well be based on human nature and something that really happened in those woods back in the 1600’s.

There’s nothing quite as evil as getting to see what lies just beyond the shadows of reality. Can’t wait.

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang's TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people. Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…
