OFF THE WALL is a brand new pop up restaurant located in Hatfield Pretoria and this month they’ve decided to delve into the intriguing flavour world of modern EGYPT. This country is not only aesthetically one of YULU’s favourites in the world, but there’s so much to be said about Egyptian food because of all its cultural influences. Few foods are absolutely Egyptian – there are a number of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes which have found a home in Egypt, many of which have been tweaked over centuries to the tastes of modern palettes.
YULU has chosen some really great dishes to re-imagine in her own special way: this month fans can expect well loved moussaka, koftas which she’ll be preparing with a delicious combination of lamb and beef, dakka, ful medames and a popular dessert which she will be remixing, Umm Ali. If it all sounds strange to you, then be excited because what is food without a little education?
OFF THE WALL will be meeting again at the extra special, extra cosy, newly revamped hot spot +27 Cafe in Hatfield, Pretoria. We have a cash bar and lots of amazing food and wine, so be sure to make your booking for another unforgettable Off The Wall Pop Up evening! Tickets cost R380 per person for five delicious courses. Vegetarians are always welcome.
