E3 2013 has already brought us amazing things like a first look at the PS4 and a peek into the world of next generation gaming. However, there hasn’t yet been anything to eclipse the excitement showed around the release the brand new iteration of the Metal Gear series. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is undoubtedly one of the most impressive next gen console games to be seen by the general public.
They’ve got Kiefer Sutherland as the new voice of Snake as well as the ability to complete missions in an open ended fashion (and insanely life-like graphics). In typical dramatic fashion the trailer for the video showed off exactly how amazing the new game was going to be with a lengthy, emotional intro depicting torture and political warfare, KONI style child soldiers training with AK-47s and a scene where a bomb is forcibly removed from the open gut of a struggling victim. Oh and I haven’t even mentioned the scenes of waterboarding yet. Yeah this one is going to be fairly epic.
If you need a reason to buy a PS4 or Xbox One – watch this video.
