The most Googled terms and questions by South Africans over the past decade

There are an estimated 31 million internet users in South Africa, meaning, roughly 54% of the total population has access to the internet. Google South Africa recently revealed what questions and terms were most searched among South African users over the past decade as well as the past year.

The most searched question of the decade was ‘how to make slime’ – homemaking slime became a hit with children back in 2017 – while the most searched term in SA over the past 10 years is, of course, ‘Loadshedding’.
