The Migos Culture Tour Hits South Africa Later This Year!

Oh yes…RAIN DROP, DROP TOP. Mabala Noise in association with MTV Base (DStv Channel 322), BET Africa (DStv Channel 129), YFM and Gagasi FM have confirmed that they’re going to be the ones to bring international hip hop outfit Migos to South Africa for the first time this October.

The Atlanta trio have taken the hip hop world by storm since 2013 with their hit single ‘Versace’, following by ‘Look at My Dab’ which lead to an international dance sensation in 2015. Then in 2016 came their breakthrough international party anthem / mega-hit Bad and Boujee clocking over 700 million plays across Youtube and Spotify.

Formed in 2009, the trio comprised of members Quavo (born Quavious Keyate Marshall), Takeoff (born Kirshnik Khari Ball) and Offset (born Kiari Kendrell Cephus), originally known as Polo Club and from Georgia, USA. The three members are directly related and were raised together; Quavo is Takeoff’s uncle, and Offset is Quavo’s cousin. Now only 8 years into their career, they are Inarguably the hottest rap group on the planet right now being the must have trap feature across all music genres in 2017.

Migos will bring their live show our way this October hitting stages in Dubz (I know, now you can all stop complaining you never get to see anyone good) and of course Jozi.

The local supporting line-up will be announced closer to the concert date and tickets range from R350 to R790 and are available from noon Thursday 10th August in Johannesburg and noon Monday 14th August in Durban.
