The Harlem Globetrotters return to South Africa

After spending 20 years away from the lovely South African shores, The Harlem Globetrotters are returning for a basketball extravaganza suitable for the whole family. The US-based exhibition basketball squad is one of the world’s most loved sports teams, bringing a unique blend of athleticism and theatre to the center court. South Africans will get to experience all of this first-hand, starting 1 July.

The Globetrotters are much more than entertainers though, they are a super capable force with hoop skills second to none.  The team have a unique showcase of basketball skills that have found their way into the record books and showmanship that will enthrall the whole family. You’ll get to see them thump their opponents using  upside down shots, trick shots and passes plus unbelievable slam dunks and three pointers hurled from the opposite side of the court – sounds like a good time to me!

See the Harlem Globetrotters in action; Cape Town Grand West Arena 1 and 2 July, I C C Durban Arena – Durban, Kwazulu-Natal on the 3rd and Ticketpro Dome – Johannesburg And Reef, Gauteng on 9 July.
