Take a look inside the tallest building in Africa – ‘The Leonardo’ in Sandton


Africa’s tallest skyscraper officially opened its doors this month. Located in Sandton Johannesburg, The Leonardo stands 234-metres tall, holding the record for the tallest structure on the continent.

The 55-storey building is home to a blend of luxury residential units, hotel units, office spaces and recreational activities including a gym, spa and restaurants.

As you could probably guess, living or working in The Leonardo will cost you a pretty penny with the most expensive unit – the 3,000 square metre, Leonardo Suite – is on the market for a roughly R250 million, while the cheapest room in the hotel section will cost about R7,860 per night for 2 guests.
