Egbert dancefloor 1

Building on what is already a fairly exceptional lineup of electronic music, Synergy has just announced two more techno heavyweights to the list in Egbert and Secret Cinema. These 2 DJ’s will be hosting the Saturday Night on the Electronic Stage, bringing their unique hard edged, main room techno sound to Synergy Live for the very first time – are you excited?

EGBERT

Despite only being 26, Egbert has played at almost every major festival and club around the world and has collaborated on remixes with big international artists like; Funk D’Void, Secret Cinema, Carl Cox and Marc Romboy. His rocket-like rise has been an exciting rollercoaster ride, from being discovered by Secret Cinema on Myspace, to touring the globe with headline performances at many of the world´s top clubs and festivals. Egbert has powerful pumping main room techno such as ‘Haasten’ and ‘Straktrekken’ under his belt but also melodic and somewhat minimal sounding tracks. Creating a broad spectrum of music within his own signature sound he always manages to surprise critics and audiences alike. His debut album ‘Warm’ and the astonishing sold-out 6 hour live set to promote the album are his most recent achievements.

Be sure to get your techno fix from Egbert on Saturday night at Synergy Live.

SECRET CINEMA

For the past 20 years, Jeroen Verheij aka Secret Cinema has consistently been regarded as one of Netherland’s top techno producers and live acts.

During this time he has produced some of the biggest techno anthems including ‘Timeless Altitude’, ‘Sonar System’, and ‘Mary Go Wild’. He has headlined some of the biggest festivals around the world, including closing the Awakenings Festival (a feat only a handful of act s can lay claim to).

After the success of his solo Secret Cinema project, Jeroen has focused his energy towards a new venture, “Gem”. This new venture curates Gem Records (one of the fastest growing global techno labels) and the highly regarded Gem events, which has garnered a cult following over the past several years.
