Sunday Edition, headlined by Sol Gems and Desmond and The Tutus,

Sunday Edition #3 lands right on the doorstep of the holiday season, just in time to dish out your first serious dose of good vibrations for the summer.

Waves of sonic sunshine are laid down by psychedelic three-piece SOL GEMS. Celebrated icons of kwela-indie-punk DESMOND & THE TUTUS throw out pulsing disco hits and infectious grooves. Alt-pop duo LO-GHOST pour out deep synth sounds and bouncing electro beats, MILK BAR KID delivers the fundamentals of funk and finally, ANG – veteran queen of the SA electronic scene – unrolls the outdoor dance floor with a sunset session of her trademark bass-driven numbers.

Visual artist OLIVIE KECK opens a bright window into the hidden theatre of human experience and reveals the strangeness in our most familiar corners.  An ever-growing collective of zine-makers, print artists and illustrators offer editions and collectibles, a Langa-based street barber offers his chair, and a portrait-maker creates your likeness.

The Neighbourgoods Designer Market features the most exciting local streetwear labels and vintage stores, and a handpicked selection of Cape Town’s finest food trucks and hole-in-the-wall restaurateurs serve it up to the hungry crowds. We unveil our new summer beer and cocktail special – with the Aperol Spritz Bar mixing the crispest spritz you’re likely to taste this side of the equator.

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang’s TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people.
Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…
