WANKELMUT
Wankelmut, who had played until then in Underground Berlin Clubs, was widely booked within Europe. In particular the diversity of his entertaining music between Deep-House and Techno that Wankelmut presented as performing as a DJ, helped him to obtain a respected and recognized status within the German electronic music and the DJ industry. At the end of 2012 the famous Electronic Music Magazine GROOVE distinguished him as the „Newcomer of the year“.

During 2012 he developed a closed relationship with the renowned Berlin label „Get Physical Music“, with whom Wankelmut started in the fall of 2012 his own Mix-Compilation-Series „Wankelmoods“, and in January 2013 released his Club Single „My Head Is A Jungle“. Wankelmut obtained for this title the collaboration of the Australian singer and songwriter Emma Louise. With the remixes of Gui Boratto, Kasper Bjorke, Billon and Solee, this title was not only a Club-hit in Europe, but was also placed in the Top 20 of the Single Charts of many European countries. The „MK Remix“ of „My Head Is A Jungle“ done by the legendary US House producer Marc Kinchen was during the summer of 2013 one of the biggest hymns played on Ibiza, the support of Pete Tong and many other DJ´s provided for abundant Wankelmut fever within the UK and the USA. Since the track never went out of focus of media, Djs and listeners it entered the official UK Single Charts at #5 in August 2014.

In the second half of 2014 the Vol. 2 of the Wankelmoods Mix Compilation was released alongside another single “Wasted So Much Time” feat. the American singer John LaMonica, an active as a member of the group Robots Don´t Sleep. The original track and the great remixes by Kölsch, N´to and Kiwi made this release another club hit in the books of Wankelmut. Towards the end of 2014 Wankelmut started to do remixes again and has successfully reworked tracks by Lenny Kravitz, Röyksopp, Talisco, Karin Park, Hozier, The Writers Block and most recently he finished his great interpretation of “Down To Earth” by Flight Facilities.
In 2015 another full on Wankelmut single release will see the light of the day alongside extensive DJ touring all over the world.

WATERMAT:

Dance music has never been the same since the rise of French artist Watermät. Coming up as an underdog, although not a complete newbie, he’s by now turned the scene upside down with his completely original sound.

French DJ/Producer Laurent Arriau has been composing tracks for several artists in the past, before releasing his own tracks. In the autumn of 2013 he decided it was his time to take the stage himself and share his love for dance music with the world.

His first self released EP “Sparks”, including the tracks ‘Sparks’ and ‘Something About You’, was released in December 2013. After that, the buzz around Watermät started rolling and Spinnin’ Records took their chance to sign him for his next track ‘Bullit’ on their Deep imprint in February 2014.

And the rest, as they say, was history. ‘Bullit’ was released to critical acclaim on Spinnin’ in May 2014. Receiving huge support from the biggest DJs in the scene who included the track in their set, it was a massive hit at the Miami Music Week, topping #1 on the DMC buzz chart while Pete Tong chose the track as “Essential New Tune of the Week” in his BBC Radio show.
‘Bullit’ quickly turned into a worldwide hit, played on dance floors as well as radio, peaking in charts in several countries, the video by now viewed over 16 million times on YouTube.

With ‘Bullit’s highly original sound, Watermät became one of the hottest new names around. This was continued with his 2015 singles ‘Frequency’ (a collab with TAI), ‘Portland’ (alongside Moguai) and ‘All My Love’, all played by the biggest DJs out there, ranging from mainstage heroes like Tiësto, Calvin Harris to (deep) house tastemakers like The Magician and Martin Solveig.

As his tracks generate millions of plays from around the world, his music is praised for its headstrong sound, combining major appeal with cool, contemporary house music. It’s a stand-alone sound, not to compare with anything, and it’s taken Watermät to great heights. Expect more from this amazing artist REAL soon!

Shimmy Beach Club encapsulates the world class style of the high party life and the laid-back atmosphere of Cape Town, making it a stellar venue rivaling the likes of Monaco and Ibiza’s beach club scenes.

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang's TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people. Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…
