The gorgeous setting of Spier wine farm plays host to the annual Festival of White Lights on Friday the 6 of December at 20h00. The festival encompasses a performance arts procession that winds through the various points of interest on the farm, like Spier’s heritage Cape Dutch monuments.
The evening is all about celebrating light and the beauty of the farm through a dazzling display of light, fire dancers, sculptures and lanterns – and a diverse collection of artistic performances choreographed by Jay Pather. To end the evening off in style guests can mosey on over to the Spier Hotel for a complimentary glass of 21 Gables Chenin Blanc or Pinotage while relaxed tunes set the mood. Arrive early, dress warmly and book a picnic (not included in price) at Spier’s Eight to Go Deli before the event begins to make a real day of it.
Tickets are R150 for adults and R60 for children under 12. To book, email firstname.lastname@example.org
