Popular tourism site Tourlane recently polled their community, asking where would be their ideal post-COVID travel destination.

South Africa was voted as the number 1 destination by their community followed by New Zealand and Canada, with Namibia taking 5th place.

The data was collected via a survey sent out in their monthly newsletter as well as through polls conducted across their social media platforms. The website’s voters are largely based in Europe with a keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities.

Considering Tourlane’s demographic of voters, it’s easy to see why South Africa, Canada, New Zealand and Namibia made the top cut.

The data also revealed that the second-most coveted trip by their travellers was a ‘safari vacation” with voters stating they would most like to explore the world again in 2021 or as soon as it’s allowed.
