With premier horseracing events usually taking place down in the lovely Cape, Gauteng’s annual SANSUI Summer Cup is shaping up to once again be the most eagerly anticipated event at the Turffontein Racecourse for this year. The event organisers recently announced ‘Sound Experience’, a music festival set to attract new horserace goers to the mix of one of the biggest events of the Jozi social calendar.

The SOUND EXPERIENCE is taking place at the annual Gauteng SANSUI Summer Cup and plans to attract racing and music lovers alike this year.  Aptly themed the ‘Peoples Race’ this year, the event which comes to life on Saturday, the 26th November 2016, has something to offer everyone. From the avid horse racing adorer to the new generation race goer, the music fan, socialite and even a member of the media, it’s a gathering not be missed this month.

Confirmed hiphop elite headlining the Sound Experience stage includes the award winning Kwesta, Major League DJ’s, new school rapper Yanga and Nadia Nakia the first lady. House duo DJ sensation Twins on Decks alongside many more will also feature on the lineup.

“With the inclusion of the Sound Experience this year, we set out to make the Gauteng SANSUI Summer Cup the single annual event to look forward to in Johannesburg for years to come. This year we infuse fashion, food and music with the ambience and elegance of the world horse racing. “
