Smashing Pumpkins Release First Single in 18 Years.

Ahead of their upcoming world tour, 90’s grunge band Smashing Pumpkins hit the studio to record music together for the first time in over 18 years.

The first track released from the studio sessions is titled Solara and is produced by Rick Rubin who also worked on Pumpkins Adore in 97. Although it’s clear that Crogans voice has matured, the track still resembles so much of what they were in the 90’s – with grungy riffs, an angst-ish bridge, and Crogan’s apathetic groans, we feel right at home.

Their “Shiny And Oh So Bright” tour kicks off next month in the States, listen to their brand new track Solara below.
