What I’m loving about Jozi at the moment is the rebirth of popular culture and the appreciation for craft. Propertuity, in collaboration with POPArt Productions & Pangolin Productions, presents its new outdoor music festival series: Seven Sounds at Common Ground – a brand new outdoor venue in the Maboneng Precinct.
Seven Sounds is for the music lovers and in particular those who enjoy and appreciate a diverse collection of musical genres. Each line-up will showcase seven original artists, creating a sonic landscape both eclectic and unique. Taking place in the urban park Common Ground, Seven Sounds is the perfect addition to the thriving artistic community which is the Maboneng Precinct.
Gates open at 10am with a new sound being amplified each hour from 11 o’clock onwards and concludes in the early evening, running down to a close at 7pm. The park is encircled by some of the best food vendors in Johannesburg and a beautifully curated bar will keep festival-goers refreshed and hydrated.
Only 700 tickets will be available to this boutique festival experience.
The first festival takes place on 7 February 2015, featuring Matthew Mole, Shotgun Tori, The Muffinz, Guy Buttery, Tidal Waves, Nakhane Touré and The Runaway Train Cult.
Tickets: R250 online or R320 at the gate.
Ample secure parking available.
Please note no food, drinks or pets through the gate.
This event is for people 18 years and older.
