Tjing Tjing Rooftop Bar
Located on the third level of a 200-year-old building in the city centre’s Longmarket Street, the rooftop bar at Tjing Tjing is a great spot to watch the world below go by. The moody interiors, top-drawer tipples, ice-cool beats and Japanese snacks and at street level, you’ll find Tjing Tjing Torii – an eclectic restaurant serving up the tastiest Japanese street food. And then the first floor is hosts the reservations-only Momiji Lounge & Bar.

The Sky Bar at The Grand Daddy Hotel
The refurbished 1895 Grand Daddy Hotel on Long Street was one of the first rooftop bars to open in Cape Town. Situated among the vintage Airstream trailers (which double as hotel rooms) this bar has an otherworldly feel. Head on over to the Sky Bar and enjoy glamours drinks and the amazing view on the wooden deck. Okay so this venue is not open to the public but it’s just to cool not to mention! Only available for private functions, The Cartel Rooftop venue is one of the biggest and most trendy rooftop venues in Cape Town. If you’re looking for a “view-drenched, stylish, and all-encompassing hotspot” to host your next event at then this is the spot for you. The Cartel Rooftop can host up to 220 people, and has a spacious bar stocked with everything! Once booked, the space is yours to do as you please.
