See You Next Wednesday Charity Event – Bruce Willis/Kennedy/Niskerone & more!

How is this for an awesome event. Assembly are giving all their proceeds from the night to the Ubuntu House charity. This means all proceeds from the door & ALL the DJ’s are giving up their fee’s to this awesome initiative. If that doesn’t give you enough reason to head down to The Assembly, then check out the bad ass line up that they have thrown together on both the main floor and the Annex. Check out what the organisers had to say:

Ubuntu House is a place of safety / halfway house for newborn babies , given up by their mothers, mostly saved from abortions and rejection due to HIV or abandoned and sometimes just thrown away.Since the house opened in 2003 untill present (2011) we have cared for over 500 babies and placed most of them with adoption parents and reunited with their biological parents.

This event is to raise funds so that the Ubuntu House can carry on the great job they are doing. The funds raised  will help them pay for much needed supplies and the day to day costs involved with caring for the babies.

Big ups to all the DJ’s of the night who are giving their fee over to the Ubuntu House Charity. So thank you Niskerone,
Bruce Willis??, Kennedy,DJ Side Show, Stone Age Citizens, Blitzkrieg, Fright, Phaze, Skrum, Headphase and Garden Boy.
Without their generous participation this event would no be made possible.

At this weeks Jim Beam Red Stag Event there will be an awesome raffle at the door.
The S.Y.N.W Ubuntu Hamper consists of:

-1 Bottles of Red Stag Whiskey
-The guys at Kartel have given us 6 Flexfit caps and 12 pairs of Mr Lacy Laces
-SCAR Haircuts to the value of R700
-Our friends at Plan B have graciously given a clothing hamper to the value of R1000
-Royal Vandetta have given us 2x R200 clothing gift vouchers
-A pair of Feiyue sneakers up for grabs
-Down South Pie Bar have decided to full your belly with an assorted box of four of their awesome pies.
-And a whole lot of Red Bull to keep you going through the night.

I really wanted the highlighted prizes above… I need a haircut!

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang’s TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people.
Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…
