See the first high resolution photos of Pluto thanks to NASA

I’m one of those people that is absolutely fascinated by space and the exploration of our galaxy. If you’re like me and are excited to explore Pluto, NASA’s New Horizons – the fastest spacecraft ever created – will speed past Pluto on July 14, 2015, beaming back high resolution photos (and invaluable data) of the dwarf planet’s surface for the first time in human history in the process.

In order to get the public amped to tune into the live broadcast the National Space Society commissioned Erik Wernquist to create this video which celebrates the New Horizons Mission.
