On the morning of November 11 something quite remarkable happened that has left scientists dumbfounded. Strange seismic waves were detected that continued for up to twenty minutes and travelled across the entire globe starting from off the coast of Mayotte, a French island between Mozambique and Madagascar in the Indian Ocean then cascading through Africa, pinging sensors in Zambia, Kenya, and Ethiopia. Next, it pulsated crossed oceans to Spain, Chile, New Zealand, Canada, and even the Hawaiian Islands. All completely unfelt by humans.
While theories and speculations range from submarine volcanic eruptions and tectonic earthquakes to meteors and space weather, so far, no one can really confirm what it was.
This is a most odd and unusual seismic signal.
