From November 16 to November 22, South Africans are invited to enjoy free entry into a variety of SANParks across the country.

SANParks has been hosting its free access week for the past fourteen years. In partnership with FNB and Total South Africa, the free access week usually takes place in September, but this year it was postponed due to lockdown.

This year, only Namaqua National Park and Boulders in Cape Town are excluded and some parks including the Kruger, Addo and Karoo National Park, will end their offers on November 20 before the weekend.

In response to the pandemic, SANParks will also implement daily quotas at some park gates throughout the week so it’s important to arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Entry to the parks will be free. Access to accommodation and other activities will be charged. View the full list of parks and more information on daily quotas, right here.
