The Just Music Sessions are bringing something different and exciting to the live music scene and in August we’ll get to see a very special performance from one of 2013’s international breakthrough artists, ROBERT DELONG. As part of their 10 Year Anniversary celebrations, Just Music has committed to making 2013 a year to remember for lovers of music starting with Robert DeLong performing an intimate show at The World Of  Yamaha Theatre in Sandton on the 12th of August.

Robert will also be performing at this year’s Oppikoppi Festival and is best known for his tune Global Concepts, with it’s catchy hook:

Did I leave my life to chance? Or did I make you fucking dance?”,

This dude is super talented and we’re going to get aurally spoilt by a guy who is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and vocalist who puts on a killer one-man show using keyboards, laptops, video game controllers, drums and lights, whilst delivering flawless vocals.

Karl Anderson, CEO of Just Music, is thrilled to have Robert coming over to SA-

“Just Music is proud to have Glassnote Records artist Robert DeLong perform at the JustMusic Sessions.  Having had the opportunity to see Robert perform live at Coachella earlier this year, South African fans are in for a special performance from one of 2013’s most exciting international breakthrough artists.”

And he’s not kidding either – here’s what the LA Canvas had to say about the show:

“Delong is a one-man dance party who performs his music live with a setup of up to 20 instruments ranging from drums and guitar, to a hacked Wii remote and flight simulator joystick mapped to midi controllers and gyros which control voice distortions”

I really don’t think you need any more convincing – Get your tickets NOW. Just Music is making a limited number of tickets available now through for R100 to catch DeLong at The World Of Yamaha Theatre.
