Reggae legends UB40 return to South Africa in April

UB40 south africa

I was more than ecstatic when I heard the news that legendary reggae group UB40 was planning to head back to South Africa on tour and now I’m happy to confirm that in April we’ll get to see one of the most successful groups of ALL time here in the South. With more than 50 hit singles and record sales in excess of 70 million worldwide, UB40 need no introduction and thanks to Seed Experiences and DStv we’ll get to see them live in both Jozi and Cape Town.

The first show is set to take place on Friday 4 April 2014 at the beautiful Val de Vie Winelands Lifestyle Estate in Paarl and gates open at 15h30. In Jozi, the show takes place on Saturday 5 April at popular outdoor park venue, Emmarentia Dam and gates open at 11am. DStv is proud to come on board as media partner along with Heart 104.9FM as Cape Town radio partner and Kaya FM as the Jozi radio partner, to bring fans the a haze of smoke (although that’s more from the audience and band members themselves) and some of the band’s all time classics such as ‘Red Red Wine’, ‘Kingston Town’ and ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love.

Tickets are on sale from R395 at Webtickets. Get yours now and see UB40 live at two of South Africa’s top venues.
