Red Bull Studio Roundup: Post Rocking the Daisies Swag

Rocking the Daisies 2012 saw 17000 festival goers descend upon the Cloof Wine Estate in Darling, some 70k’s outside of Cape Town, to soak up three days and nights of sonic revelry courtesy of some of South Africa’s finest bands, musicians and DJs.

While the Main-Stage crowd gleefully rocked out to the likes of Desmond and the Tutus, Shadowclub, Jeremy Loops and meteoric headliners Bloc Party; several thousand others stomped to the insistent jounce of the Red Bull Studio Live Stage which provided a world-class line-up of Electronica and Dance Music featuring the Gnarly Bass of Koan Sound, the Deep House pedigree of Goldfish, the legendary Hip-Hop and Throwdown-Party-DJ Pioneer, Grand Master Flash, alongside the best of South Africa’s Electronic Music Scene including artists such as Das Kapital, Twelv and Thesis, Black Motion, Card On Spokes, Christian Tiger School, Leighton Moody, Floyd Lavine and plenty more.

There is also an amazing video produced by Makhulu which sums up the Studio Live Stage and the essence of RTD as a whole.

We have two amazing sets recorded live from the Red Bull Studio Live Stage from Space Time Continuum & Leighton Moody.

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang's TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people. Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…
