Preparing For Future Frequency Festival As They Move To Their New Home

We’re an avant-garde electronic music festival from the future. A proud member of the South African sonic landscape and one that exists to push the boundaries of the way we think about electronic music festivals. Hi-tech music in low-tech settings drawing a contrast between the sounds of tomorrow and the aesthetics of the present.

We welcome you back to a familiar setting in a brand new container yard just a stone’s throw from our original home.

Join the Future Frequency Festival team as they commence forth on another sonic journey into the unknown.

// VENUE //

THE CONTAINER YARD

ADDRESS: Sunnyside Cres, Salt River, Cape Town, 7925

An active depot used to store and transport shipping containers is playing home to the series of forward-thinking music festivals. The space is untouched by any other event, and its rough, edgy landscape is set to compliment our hi-tech music selection in an incredible fashion.

The fact that it is only 10 minutes from the Cape Town City Centre also makes it easily accessible by cab, shuttle or UBER – meaning you, the valued guests, don’t have to drive and are left to enjoy the festival to its fullest. Your safety is their first priority.

// GOING MEAT FREE //

FFF is a MEAT FREE Festival.

In the interests of our planet, and in our aim to decrease the carbon footprint of our event, we’ve embraced a meat-free culture.

Meat production is one of the biggest contributors to global greenhouse gas emissions and deforestation. We as a festival would like to do our bit to curb that as best we can.

We’ll have incredible vegetarian food available from a number of food traders in our food zone at the festival.

Rumoured to have the blue-prints for Krang's TechnoDrome, stolen straight from Dimension X, he’s the type of guy who exudes so much coolness that he adds whole countries on Facebook at one time instead of just people. Always up for a party and a Tequila shot or two this is the guy who we always call first, both before and after a night out…
