Every fourth year sees the Porsche Club of Cape Town get the chance to step up and host the annual Porsche Parade in a city where you’re far less likely to get shot by criminals or police. As you can imagine, the parade is pretty much one really… really long wet dream for any car lover out there and this year it looks set to be the biggest and best yet with over 100 Porsche from around the country attending.
This year is also extra special because for the first time ever the Shine and Show event will be opened up to the public, to give everyone a chance to come and perv the machines up close. The event happens this Sunday, 3rd November 2013 at Camps Bay High Football fields from 11:00 to 15:00. Entrance is R20, which will be donated to Camps Bay Neighbourhood Watch.
Food and drink will also be on sale and there will be running commentary throughout the day by Johnny Koen, who will be providing interesting detail and info about the cars on display… And to top it all off there will be music to keep you entertained.
This is probably the only time you will get to see over 100 different Porsche all together in one spot on display, so if you or anyone else you know are big fans – go and check this out this weekend.
