Pop Up Bass Speaker makes real-life visualisations to your tunes

The idea behind this contraption is fairly straightforward, use a glass chamber filled with little styrofoam balls in various sizes to recreate real life versions of those old school WINAMP (Google it if you don’t remember/you weren’t born yet) visualisations. The Pop-Up Bass Speaker was designed by Portuguese student Daniela Mata and offers the stoned appreciator and collector of functional design pieces a great way to spend half and hour while waiting for a take-out delivery – staring at this while high must be the tits! When the music is turned on, the styrofoam balls move around creating a neat little pattern to the rhythm of whatever music is being played.
