Pete Tong confirmed for NYE double header in Ballito & Cape Town

You’ll remember that we posted about the Pied Piper of Dance Music giving me a shout-out a few weeks back while he was tearing things up on the Essential Selection on BBC Radio 1. During the shout-out he dropped a massive hint about him coming down to SA on visit. Well you’ll be happy to know that Pete Tong has been confirmed for South Africa to usher in the New Year in real style.

G&G Productions has put together something quite fantastic for the enjoyment of thousands of party ready peeps… A double party for Ballito and Cape Town, linked by a live broadcast, headlined by Pete Tong. Come December 31st, Mr Tong (he deserves that much respect), will start the jol off at Ballito’s NYE street party at The Village Centre before hopping onto a private jet to Cape Town to rock the V&A Waterfront Rooftop Party- breaking in 2013 like only he can.

Gareth Devore, Marketing Director of G&G Productions had this to say:

“With 13,000 party-goers in KZN and 8,000 people attending the V&A Waterfront Rooftop Party, we decided to treat the fans of SA’s two largest NYE events to an international DJ of the highest caliber, creating the ultimate experience for locals and international holiday-makers alike”,

“With his recently released three new compilations, Pete’s at the forefront of dance and everyone’s really excited for him to bring a taste of Ibiza to South Africa’s coast this December.”

I’ve been doing a bit of digging and there have been murmurs of names like Chris Jack, Spindoctor (fresh from our MCBN party), Roger Goode, DJ Fresh, Coco-Loco, Nick Supply and Kyle Worde all playing a supporting role at what is surely THE NYE event to be at if you’re in Ballito or Cape Town at the end of the year. Massive.

We’ll have more details for you soon (and maybe a competition or two if you ask nicely).

Im a guy with a very particular view of life... im not quite sure what that view is just yet, but when I find out I'll be sure to let you know...
