Open a bottle with this print ad. Carlsberg you have just blown my mind


Being a strong proponent of the digital world, I am at times guilty of buying into the whole “print is dead” argument. Thankfully it was an alcohol brand that restored my faith in advertising within the print environment.

A print ad put together by Duval Guillaume for Carlsberg Beer in Belgium encouraged readers to follow instructions in tearing and folding enabling the use of the ad as a bottle opener for a Carlsberg. The full-page ad is called “Probably the best ad in the world” and I have to admit they aren’t far from the truth. Check it out in the video below:

    1. I dont think I’ve seen better in print- apart from the stuff around augmented reality. Exciting times in Advertising!
