Bridges for Music, an international non-profit organization focused on the responsible development of electronic music, launches in South Africa with the first ever tour to the continent by global music pioneer Richie Hawtin, who will appear as its first ambassador in February 2013.

Bridges for Music is gathering international and local key players of the music industry to enhance the opportunities through music and create positive change in disadvantaged areas across the world.

Renowned for his forward thinking approach, Hawtin is extending the educational concept of his recent CNTRL “Beyond EDM” tour across 17 colleges in the USA, to participate in this social and music legacy project in Africa which will present an important social dimension with master classes in Gugulethu and Soweto accompanied by local ambassadors Black Coffee and DJ Fresh.

R5 from every tickets sold will go to this fantastic charity!
