After a successful disco edition in June, our monthly musical gatherings continue in July with another celebration of house music. The origin of this genre dates back to the 1980’s and can be described as a melodic and stylish sound with influences coming from soul, jazz and African beats. On Friday the 11th of July, the Olmeca House Sessions will be showcasing The Deeper Side of House!
You can expect quality music provided by some of South Africa’s finest talent. For the 3rd session of 2014, we are excited to have Harael Salkow (JHB – Soul Candi), Plagiarhythm, David Ireton and January One taking us on an adventure through the deeper side of house.
We look forward to sharing this session with you at Café Caprice where the venue will once again be uniquely transformed into a warm, intimate setting, ideal for helping us brave Cape Town’s winter months as we #SwitchOnTheNight.
Thanks to Olmeca Tequila, we can enjoy these musical experiences at no cost as there is no cover charge at any of these events.
If you would like to book a table either e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call on 021 438 8315.
