Official merchandise from the failed FYRE Festival will soon be auctioned off online

The investigation into the scandalous Fyre Festival saga is still currently underway with founder Billy McFarland facing years behind bars. The wake of the horrendously failed event left many investors, workers, production staff, media teams and locals penniless. The officials working the case have found a creative way to help recover some of the financial damages by auctioning off the official festival merch.

We have an assortment of the ‘real thing’ Fyre Festival-branded tee-shirts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, hats, wristbands and medallions. We know that there is tremendous interest in these items.” – United States Marshals Service’s Manhattan Office

The merch definitely has a historical and cultural value, given the unforgettable infamy of the “greatest festival that never happened”

Funds from the online auction –apparently a date hasn’t been set yet – will go towards repaying stakeholders and workers McFarland cheated.
