The team at Off The Wall returns with a fairly interesting theme for their eighth installation of the year. This time around they’ll be focusing on North Korean cuisine – and have chosen the optimal season in which to celebrate the freshness and vibrancy of this nation’s wonderful food offering. North Korean food has gone through so may interesting twists and turns over centuries and what has resulted is an incredible tapestry of flavours, textures and colours.
No Korean meal is served without a selection of traditional sides consisting of delicious, tangy sauces and fermented vegetable preparations which we’ll be serving up with a bit of our uniquely South African personality. Expect slow-roasted ribs so tender, they’ll practically be falling off the bone and a spicy, fragrant kimchi with our own special twist – in a salad! They’d like to keep the menu as relaxed as possible, with a bistro-meets-braai approach and lots of cutlery-free courses!
